Policies for Silverton
General Membership Policies
- Members must Check In/Sign In at the front desk upon arrival; Must Sign Out upon departure
- Members may bring guests; Pay at the front desk upon arrival
- Guest passes may be purchased at the front desk or through your account on eSoft
- All party room rentals are handled through the managers. Forms available at the front desk or on the website
- Children 10 years old or younger MUST be accompanied by an adult or chaperone
- Parents/Chaperones will supervise their children and guests at all times while on the property
- Children that are not potty trained MUST wear a non-disposable swim diaper at all times while in the pool(s); Disposable swim diapers may be used as a liner under a non-disposable swim diaper
- No running on the pool deck
- No diving or jumping from the slide is permitted
- Must slide feet first, facing forward towards the pool
- ONE person on diving board/slide at a time; must wait for diving well to be clear before diving OR sliding
- Follow all lifeguard instructions especially in the diving well
- Adult swimming last 10 minutes of every hour. Children must NOT be in the pool even the shallow end
- No one with a skin rash, open wound or infection may enter the pool
- No rollerblading, skateboarding or bicycling is allowed within the fenced in area of the pool
- You may bring food and beverages to the pool. NO GLASS is permitted; No food, drinks, or gum is permitted within 3 feet of the pool
- Throw away all trash and recycling in the proper containers
- Put down your umbrella when you leave
- We have a Lost & Found cabinet in the party room
- No weapons allowed on Silverton property
- No smoking within the fenced in area of the pool
- Thunder rule: Everyone MUST vacate the pool. 30 minute time frame
- Lightning rule: Everyone MUST vacate the pool deck. 30 minute time frame
Lap Lanes
- One lane will be reserved for lap swimmers during normal business hours
- Lap lane for lap swimmers only
- Do not swim or dive over the lap lanes
- Do not lay on lane lines
Flotation Devices
- An adult must be within an arm’s reach of the child
- Devices must be coast guard certified
- NOT allowed in the diving well
Other Items
- Inflatables must be less than 2 feet in diameter
- No rafts when pool is crowded
- Kickboards are for swim team, swim lessons, lap swimmers, and water fitness classes ONLY
- Only squishy balls and frisbees are permitted
- Baby pool is reserved for children 2 and under and their parents/chaperones
